First of all: Oh my god, Bobby McFerrin is alive and well! Everyone remembers Dont Worry be Happy, but Mc Ferrin is also an amazing musician capable of playing his vocal chords as though they were a four piece orchestra. Jazz in Marciac is in the heart of the Charente and is a perfect place to slow things down and have some Cognac and Foie Gras. They never take many risks when it comes to the line up but there are always crowd pleasing artists such as Cesaria Evora, DeeDee Brigdewater and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band. So put on your charentaises (slippers) and boogey down old school style to some fine jazz and blues.
